Officer, Branch Operations Manager

The Officer, Branch Operations Manager is responsible for achieving branch goals and overall business success. Provide direction, leadership and motivation to ensure that the office team achieves service, growth, operational audits and goals. Supervises the day-to-day operational functions of the branch. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with Bank policies. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.

Assure high quality and friendly customer service and adherence to growth and brand standards.

Resolve customer inquiries/complaints and situations in a positive professional and efficient manner.

Promote effective operational and service environment.

Monitor staff's performance relative to losses, differences and mitigating risk. When appropriate, coach for improved performance.

Approve transactions within established guidelines, and escalate when required

Participate in the opening and closing of branch. Conduct security inspection of building and grounds under dual control.

Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure compliance with all Bank policies and procedures.

Review daily reports.

Assist Branch Manager in meeting deposit growth goals.

Assist Branch Manager in achieving satisfactory audit ratings and delivering quality branch certification packages

Identify and mitigate audit and operational risk.

Monitoring expense control.

Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.

Prepare and deliver in a timely manner, the employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and corrective action notices as applicable.

Manage, support, coach and train staff to ensure that immediate action is taken to improve performance

Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.

Follow all established policies and procedures.

Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

7 years in branch operations, including 3 years supervisory or other leadership experience is required

High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Associate's degree or higher strongly preferred

Mastery of the operational regulatory environment with thorough knowledge of banking operations is required

Solid knowledge of all aspects of using key branch systems; basic end-user knowledge of Word and Excel is required

Resourceful with ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously is required

Review and be knowledgeable of departmental and human resource's policies & procedures is required

Leads, coaches, motivates, and develops staff across varying levels, with strength in selection, engagement, and driving high performance is required

Leads the identification of opportunities to refer new products and services to clients based on their financial goals; ability to match the right partner to the client based on needs is required

Regularly coaches and mentors to achieve goals; collaborates across the organization to get things done through partnerships and by building an environment of trust is required

Credible, influential, and confident in communication engagement style; listens to hear expressed and unexpressed needs and translate that to action is required

High level of initiative, actively takes on new challenges and projects; influences team's understanding of and successful acceptance of change is required

Directs high performance and results achievement; empowers others to succeed is required

Manages their own risk as well as guiding the risk assessment and management of the broader branch; ability to recognize a strategic plan and developing in ability to use it to address risk and growth including reviewing work of others, developing a training plan and updates to staff about risk; thorough knowledge of risk management, compliance controls, and loss prevention is required

Continuously coaches team to high levels of performance and assists team in reaching career goals is required

Ability to look for and contribute to growth opportunities for the branch is required

High School diploma or equivalent required

SALARY RANGE

The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
