Governance Coordinator

Manage and coordinate a diverse body of governance work in support of the activities of the Boards of Trustees of Seattle Children's Healthcare System (SCHS) and Seattle Children's Hospital (SCH) and the Board of Directors of Umbrella Pediatrics, P.S., and associated committees to effectively carry out best practices for corporate governance operations. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring ongoing effective governance operations. Provide logistical and administrative support of highly complex and responsible nature to applicable governance bodies. Facilitate the timely and accurate flow of information among board members, committees, and executive leadership. The position interfaces with high level internal/external contacts requiring considerable discretion and initiative. Coordinates closely with Chief Legal Officer (CLO) and the Chief Executive Officer and/or their staff, as appropriate, to ensure impactful, efficient, and integrated governance operations. Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance and improve the governance function and presenting proposals to the CLO or other appropriate executive leadership. Assists the CLO with budgeting and department finances.

Required Education and Experience

BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least seven (7) years' experience providing complex, responsible administrative support to senior organizational leadership. At least three (3) years' experience working with a Board of Trustees/Directors and/or board-appointed committees, including knowledge of corporate governance best practices. Advanced minutes-taking skills. Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point).

Compensation Range

$97,665.00 - $146,497.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
