Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative

Our client, a mission-driven nonprofit organization, is seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Bilingual Spanish Customer Service Representative to support diverse community members. This role plays a key part in ensuring individuals receive accurate information, resources, and assistance while delivering culturally responsive and empathetic service in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service to community members in both English and Spanish via phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to programs, services, referrals, and general inquiries
  • Accurately collect, enter, and update participant information in internal databases and case management systems
  • Assist individuals with forms, applications, and general documentation as needed
  • Provide clear explanations of programs, eligibility requirements, and next steps
  • Resolve concerns professionally and escalate complex or sensitive matters when appropriate
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records of all interactions while ensuring confidentiality
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support program delivery and positive participant outcomes
  • Uphold the organization's mission, values, and commitment to equity and inclusion

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written) required
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, call center, or community-facing role
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach
  • Experience with data entry and database systems (CRM or case management systems preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage high call volume and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in a nonprofit, social services, healthcare, or community-based organization is a plus
