Bilingual Intake Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, doctors, and caseworkers
- Receive incoming referrals and verify eligibility for services
- Support communication with 2-1-1, Maximus, and Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
- Assist with home visits and help clients feel comfortable with required documentation
- Manage high call volumes and conduct timely follow-ups
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Required
- Experience with insurance verification, medical records, or patient financial services
- Basic understanding of managed care organizations
- Previous professional work experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage high-volume calls and multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Preferred
- Associate degree
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare office setting
