A/V Systems Engineer

We are looking for a skilled A/V Systems Engineer to join our team in Norcross, Georgia. This contract-to-permanent position involves designing, implementing, and validating advanced audio-visual systems for a variety of applications. The ideal candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of projects, from conceptualization and documentation to commissioning and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive A/V system designs, including detailed bill of materials, labor estimates, and quotes.
  • Create accurate 2D system drawings and documentation using CAD software.
  • Test, commission, and validate audio-visual systems to ensure high-quality performance before project turnover.
  • Collaborate with platforms such as Biamp, Crestron, Extron, and other industry-standard systems to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end system lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues during system deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout all project phases.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Regularly update and refine system designs based on evolving technologies and client feedback.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with audio and visual equipment, including DSP systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for system drafting and design.
  • Strong knowledge of platforms like Biamp, Crestron, and Extron.
  • Ability to produce detailed system documentation and drawings.
  • Expertise in testing and commissioning audio-visual systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for A/V systems.
