Av Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled AV Field Service Technician with hands-on experience in audiovisual (AV) troubleshooting, repair, and field servicing. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to commercial and/or residential AV systems, ensuring optimal system performance and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of AV components, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently at client sites.

This position is Monday-Friday normal daytime hours.

Responsibilities:

Travel to client locations to troubleshoot, repair, and service audiovisual systems.
Diagnose issues with AV components including displays, projectors, control systems, audio processors, amplifiers, microphones, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
Perform system testing, calibration, and configuration to ensure proper functionality.
Read and interpret AV system schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Repair or replace faulty equipment, cabling, and connectors.
Provide technical support and training to end-users on proper system operation.
Document service calls, resolutions, and equipment changes accurately and timely.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to resolve complex system issues.
Maintain tools, service vehicle inventory, and testing equipment.
Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

$70,000 - $95,000 a year
