The Asitrade Utility Support is responsible for assisting the operators of the astride single-face laminator.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Prepare and mix starch adhesive for wet-end operator.
Monitor and adjust starch adhesive as required.
Assist wet-end operator on roll or flute changeovers.
Assist lead operator on pre-stacking sheet feeder.
Fill in for lead operator on breaks and days absent.
Assist other operators as required.
Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area.
Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Overtime is required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED minimum.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. May require the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. May require the ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient Microsoft Office computer skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
Other qualifications:
Requires the ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products. Normal vision and ear protection (headsets) are required. Knowledge of corrugated board and litho lamination preferred.
