Aircraft Finance Support Representative

The Aircraft Finance Support Representative supports accurate and efficient aircraft loan operations. Responsibilities include preparing and processing loan documents, securing collateral, managing loan payoffs, and providing administrative support to the finance team. This representative also assists customers with inquiries and resolves account issues promptly.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication skills for internal collaboration and customer service. Experience in finance or lending and proficiency with documentation and account systems are preferred.

By maintaining accuracy, compliance, and positive client relationships, this position supports operational integrity and reinforces the company’s reputation for excellence in aviation finance.

Essential Duties

Receive and answer questions regarding aircraft loan balances, payoffs and lien release process.

Assist customers with post-close support and required documentation.

Provide quality customer service to both current and future customers. Respond to customer requests and resolve routine account issues.

Coordinate with the title companies and borrowers to administer loan payoffs, which includes generating loan payoff statements, coordination and follow-up of lien releases, and completion of account maintenance items on the closed loan.

Ensure ACH information is shut-off on closed loans and reflect correctly within NuPoint.

Maintain a tickler file to assist with timely follow up and completion of project related tasks.

Assist the Loan Officers in organizing workflow for closings.

Prepare preliminary work on various projects as directed.

Maintain departments recordkeeping and filing systems. Classify, sort and file correspondence, reports and other documents.

Acquire insurance renewals, review for accuracy and forward to insurance department. Maintain log of customer insurance agency contact information for assistance with efficient completion.

Assist Loan Officers in obtaining aircraft closing documentation/photos/logbook copies and conditions reports.

Compile all closing items including title, corporate documents, and aircraft information for submission to Loan Processing department for loan documentation preparation.

Create and maintain good working relationships with title companies and past, current and prospective aircraft referral sources to support continued growth.

Maintain follow-up of post-closed transactions to confirm Lien Release(s) are properly filed with the FAA.

Complete a wide range of tasks that include correspondence, memos, forms and tables (e.g., end of year reporting and information requested by accountants/administrative personnel).

Serve as a back up to the Aircraft Finance Coordinator.

Gain an understanding of all functions performed in the Aircraft Finance department.

Assume responsibility for additional projects and tasks as assigned.

Education & Certifications

Associates degree in Business Administration, a related field, or a commensurate combination of education and experience required.

A minimum of three years of relevant experience required.

Minimum Requirements

Basic knowledge of direct lending and origination functions for aircraft.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers at all levels.

A positive and proactive approach to work, demonstrating enthusiasm, adaptability, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in stressful or adverse conditions.

Ability to interpret various ratios and relationships inherent in common or specialized financial and data-driven reports.

Ability to complete standard calculations and apply basic mathematical concepts in practical situations.

Proficient computer literacy, including comfort with Microsoft systems and Office Suite.

Intermediate typing skills to meet the needs of this position.

Current drivers license and reliable transportation with appropriate insurance coverage; additionally, the ability to drive occasionally in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

The ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

Additional Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred.
