At Door County Cooperative, you will be part of a team supporting our local farm community. You will work directly with producers on the farm and in the field, alongside our team at Door County Cooperative, which has a passion for agriculture. This collaboration will add value to the process and improve our customers\' experience. Responsibilities include spraying crops, spreading fertilizer, delivering seed and fertilizer to and from specified destinations, maintaining compliance with company DOT requirements and the driver\'s manual, ability to communicate with the supervisor about all maintenance and repairs of equipment and supplies, preparing and maintaining records following regulations and company procedures, meeting all applicable DOT and WI Dept. of Agriculture and WDNR rules and regulations, and obtaining a Pesticide Applicator Training license (PAT). Provides exceptional customer support to meet customer demand by working evening hours and weekends, as needed. General shop maintenance. Education and background in the agricultural field preferred. Attention to detail, self-motivated, organized, and able to work without direct supervision, with a passion for the business of agriculture. Driver must have the ability to lift heavy objects up to 60 lbs., be able to pull, push, stand, walk without assistance, and work outside in varying weather.
