Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations support team, providing essential administrative assistance during a significant ERP transition. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to learning new systems and processes, which will align successfully within the organization.
Position Type: 6-Month Contract with Potential for Conversion to Full-Time
Location: Downtown St. Paul, MN (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $22 - $24/hour
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (On-site Monday - Thursday, remote Friday)
What's the Job?
Assist with document management, including preparing custom documents for internal teams.
Send shortage emails and communicate effectively regarding shipment details.
Ensure accuracy of shipment information prior to invoicing processes.
Support the preparation of customs documents and ad hoc reports.
Participate in ERP system implementation efforts, including data entry and system migration tasks.
What's Needed?
Proficiency in Excel, including basic formulas and data organization skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and processes.
Experience with ERP systems such as Navision is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.
