Position: Administrative Assistant, International And Immigrant Student Services

Department: Student Success & Engagement

Type of Position: Part-time Regular

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 25 hours per week

Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No

Starting Salary Range: $18.22-$23.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Serve as frontline reception and provide support in the international admissions process.

Required Qualifications:

Requires High School diploma and typically requires at least 1 year of related experience.

Mid-level support role.

Completes routine tasks under moderate supervision.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

Manage customer service interactions with guests and provide comprehensive student support for visitors to the International and Immigration Student Services office.

Provide real-time connections with other campus departments to facilitate successful enrollment and student support.

Assist with frontline requests such as document pickup or drop off, scheduling appointments, tracking office services, and answering phones.

Maintain electronic advertising and social media for the office.

Update the Banner system with accurate information that corresponds to the appropriate immigration status.

Provide international project support to office coordinators.

Gather information and documentation from students or families in a timely manner.
