Account Services Representative

Location: Novi, MI

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm

Type: Contract Overview

The Account Services Representative is responsible for managing order processing, billing, and account maintenance with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, sales staff, and clients to resolve order and billing issues while ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Process daily order entry and billing transactions with accuracy and timeliness
  • Maintain and update customer account records in ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred)
  • Communicate with internal departments, sales teams, and clients to resolve order, billing, and accounts receivable issues
  • Manage product returns and ensure accurate documentation
  • Monitor customer needs and follow up on inquiries to ensure satisfaction
  • Generate and review reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Support business operations beyond standard hours when required
  • Contribute effectively within a collaborative, team-based environment

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service or account management experience
  • Experience with order processing and billing transactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; Oracle ERP experience preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain composed and professional in stressful situations
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the medical implant industry or hospital customer base
