Government Operations Consultant II

The Government Operations Consultant II (Statewide Program Consultant - Welfare Transition) is a member of the Policy and Guidance Unit for the Welfare Transition (WT) and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Employment & Training (E&T) programs within the Division of Workforce Services, Bureau of One-Stop and Program Support. This position conducts advanced-level professional work related to researching and writing policy and procedural guidance for program operations; providing in-person and virtual training; responding to program related inquiries; and providing technical assistance regarding program requirements. The incumbent in this position is expected to function with a great deal of independence and high-quality organizational skills.

This position plays a pivotal role in providing policy guidance and training to all our Local Workforce Development Boards (LWDBs) throughout the State of Florida. The staff is responsible for assisting the programmatic needs of all LWDBs and support compliance requirements set forth by Federal and State Partners.
