1099/independent Contractor: Home Service Technician (northeast)

Contractors Needed!!!!

Champion Modular, Inc is seeking independent contractors to execute warranty work on sold homes per service work orders. The primary function of a home service technician is to repair common service issues associated with a newly manufactured home.

We provide agreed-upon rates per completed work order, along with reimbursement for approved mileage and parts under the warranty repair program.

Payment for jobs completed is processed and paid the following week after completion of the work order. Electronic payment is the preferred method of payment.

Work orders are coordinated and verified by Champion Homes Warranty Service Department staff.

Some areas on the East Coast where we need help providing warranty services are:

• New Jersey: Trenton Area
• Maryland: Baltimore Area
• Delaware: Dover Area
• Pennsylvania: Lancaster Area

If you are familiar with mobile and modular homes, HUD regulations, can communicate well, and provide documentation of completed jobs, we are looking for you.

Requirements:

• Must have a contractor's license
• Must be able to provide proof of insurance with Champion Homes as an additional insured
• Must be able to provide a W-9 along with the signed contract for the service provider for Champion Home Builders, Inc
• Must be able to communicate with the Warranty Department via phone, email, digital photos, or fax
• Must be able to electronically turn in photos, documents, and verification of expenses to process work orders
• Must be able to account for the work/service provided, documenting the problem, probable cause, and the repair(s) done on every task on the work order
• Prior knowledge of mobile and modular homes and HUD regulations preferred. However, a willingness to learn this information quickly will be considered.
