Store Associate

This position is located at C. Gran Via 43, Madrid, 28013 Spain

The main objective of this role is to support the store management team to achieve a store environment that fosters creativity, employee development, and the VIBE philosophy. Maintain the Urban Outfitters philosophy of "Peers Training Peers".

People:

• Offer a positive and friendly experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service.
• Improve the environment by focusing on customers and not on tasks during peak hours.
• Provide a store experience that reflects the company's "mystery shop" standards.
• Contribute to the overall store environment by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others.
• Maintain company standards and act as a positive role model for peers.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Work productively within the team and take the initiative to work with others towards a common, collaborative goal.
• Help in the training and development of peers.
• Communicate positively and effectively with colleagues.
• Participate actively in daily and departmental meetings.

Operations:

• Demonstrate competence in job knowledge (i.e., cash register, warehouse, sales floor, and fitting rooms).
• Participate in order processing and help the team keep the receiving and stock areas clean and organized.
• Help with the timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks (i.e., markdowns, labeling, transfers, and RTV).
• Show awareness of loss prevention guidelines and comply with all inventory control measures.
• Always comply with company health and safety standards.

Merchandising and Display:

• Maintain the store's merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure that merchandise is properly labeled and displayed, and that the sales floor is well-stocked.
• Support sales by assisting with merchandising and display projects.
• Show familiarity with current product and knowledge of trends.

Experience in a retail/commerce environment is not mandatory. A knowledge of the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market is helpful. Strong communication skills are required.

Position with Fixed Discontinuity Contract (16 hours per week)
