Job Title

Role Summary

The main objective of this position is to support the store management team to achieve a store environment that fosters creativity, employee development, and the VIBE philosophy. Maintain the Urban Outfitters philosophy of "Peers Training Peers".

What You'll Be Doing

People:

• Offer a positive and friendly experience by engaging the customer through conversation and service.
• Improve the environment by focusing on customers and not on tasks during peak hours.
• Provide a store experience that reflects the company's "mystery shop" standards.
• Contribute to the overall store atmosphere by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others.
• Maintain company standards and act as a positive role model for your peers.

Teamwork and Communication:

• Work productively within the team and take the initiative to work with others towards a common, collaborative goal.
• Help in the training and development of colleagues.
• Communicate positively and effectively with your teammates.
• Participate actively in daily and departmental meetings.

Operations:

• Demonstrate competence in job knowledge (i.e., cash registers, warehouse, sales floor, and fitting rooms).
• Participate in order processing and help the team keep the receiving and stock replenishment areas clean and organized.
• Assist in the timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks (i.e., markdowns, labeling, transfers, and RTV).
• Show awareness of loss prevention guidelines and comply with all inventory control measures.
• Always comply with company health and safety regulations.

Merchandising and Display:

• Maintain store merchandising and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure that merchandise is properly labeled and displayed and that the sales floor is well-stocked.
• Support sales by assisting with merchandising and display projects.
• Show familiarity with current product and knowledge of trends.

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in a retail/commerce environment: not mandatory.
• A knowledge of the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market.
• Strong communication skills.
