Role Summary

The main function of this role will be to support the store management team in creating a store environment that fosters creativity, employee development, and a good atmosphere. It is also the person's task to nurture the company's "Peers Training Peers" philosophy of Urban Outfitters.

What You'll Be Doing

People:

• Providing positive, friendly experiences by engaging customers in conversations and service
• Creating a good atmosphere by focusing on customers rather than tasks during peak sales hours
• Ensuring a shopping experience that meets store standards in "mystery shop" studies
• Contributing to the overall atmosphere in the store through positive, respectful behavior and willingness to help others
• Adhering to company standards and being a positive role model for coworkers

Teamwork and Communication:

• Efficient teamwork and collaboration with others to achieve a common goal
• Helping with the training and development of coworkers
• Communicating positively and effectively with coworkers
• Actively participating in daily meetings and department meetings

Actions:

• Demonstrating expertise in professional knowledge (e.g., skills related to cash register operation, delivery tasks, and fitting room guidelines)
• Participating in the delivery process and helping the team maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse
• Assisting in timely and accurate completion of weekly tasks (e.g., price adjustments, tagging, transfers, and RTV)
• Knowledge of guidelines to prevent losses and adherence to all product control measures
• Compliance with company health and safety regulations at all times

Sales and Display:

• Maintaining merchandising standards and cleanliness norms in the store
• Ensuring proper product tagging and adequate supply in the sales room
• Supporting sales by assisting with merchandising and display projects
• Demonstrating knowledge of current products and trends

What You'll Need

• Previous experience in a retail environment—optional.
• Awareness of the Urban Outfitters brand and its appeal to the local market.
• Strong communication skills.
