Fashion Resale Buyer

Full-Time Buyer

Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We're looking for full-time Buyers and can train the right candidate on everything you need to know. In this position you'll get to shop for new and pre-loved fashion and decide how to price it. We carry thousands of mall and luxury brands at up to 70% off retail prices. We aim to make fashion more sustainable and that's where you come in.

Responsibilities

• Sort, select, and price gently-used & new clothing & shoe styles for our customers
• Assist with authenticating designer items by taking photos (we use a 3rd party authentication service)
• Assist with merchandising the sales floor
• Provide excellent customer service to all sellers and buyers
• Work with managers to assist with monthly markdowns
• Cashiering
• Open availability preferred but morning or evening shifts available
• Must be a fast learner, responsible, and have weekend availability
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation: $12.50 - $19.00 per hour
