Supports the movement and growth opportunities for inbound and outbound cargo for freight forwarding customers. Ensures that freight is processed in compliance with governmental regulations (e.g., Federal Aviation Administration, Transportation Security Administration, etc.). Collaborates with vendors, customers, commercial airline carriers, ocean freightliners, and other internal support groups for the movement of international and domestic air and ocean shipments. Provides administrative or technical support to ensure effective on-going operations. Applies knowledge of established processes and procedures to execute with excellence. Requires full proficiency in a range of assignments gained through training and considerable experience. Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data. Completes work with a limited supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleague with less experience.
Preferred Qualification: Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate fluently both verbally and in writing with customers.
