Job Description

Job Summary: This position is responsible for delivering and picking up packages weighing up to 150 lbs to residential and/or commercial customers. This is a physical, fast-paced position involving driving in all types of weather. Continual lifting, lowering, and moving packages to and from the UPS delivery vehicle are constant daily tasks. This position requires full commitment to UPS's strict safe driving and safe work methods while carrying out day to day tasks. This is a front-line position dealing directly with customers, therefore, excellent customer service skills are of the utmost importance.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages.
• Provide excellent service to our customers daily
• Maintain a good driving record.
• Learns and properly executes UPS safe driving and safe work methods.

Requirements

• A clean driver's abstract
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines
• Excellent customer service and driving skills
• Availability to work 5 days per week, often longer than 8 hours a day.
