Job Description

The role will be responsible for the daily management of office operations: import/export, national and international transportation, coordination of operational processes, and team management. The main objective is to ensure that all shipments are processed, retrieved, and delivered punctually and efficiently, respecting the standards required by customers. The role also involves supervising operational staff (performance, development, documentation), managing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining a clear communication flow with various national and international departments.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Report to the Regional Director and successfully lead the Operations function in the country.
  2. Promote cross-training and staff development.
  3. Reduce fixed costs and improve the operating margin through the implementation of efficient solutions, negotiation with suppliers, and control of structural costs.
  4. Improve the effectiveness of support services (OPS, CS, HR, IT, Finance) through optimized operational processes and smooth collaboration with business functions.
  5. Contribute to long-term strategic planning, supporting initiatives focused on operational excellence.
  6. Supervise overall operational management, planning, systems, and controls.
  7. Manage the operational budget in coordination with the Regional Director.
  8. Coordinate external agencies linked to the country's operations.
  9. Improve operational systems, processes, and policies, supporting reporting, information flows, and organizational planning.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in Operations positions.
  • Strong relational skills and collaborative managerial style.
  • Experience in defining and managing budgets.
  • Commercial mindset.
  • Analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to operate in dynamic contexts.
  • Excellent personnel management and effective delegation attitude.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams and complex projects.
  • Professional integrity and commitment to an inclusive work environment.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
  • Knowledge of international compliance and safety regulations.
