Provides mental health service coordination, according to the level of need, to a population of individuals with a serious mental health diagnosis. The primary function of Service Coordination is to provide professional assessment, service planning, service coordination, referral, and re-evaluation services required for a safe and healthy community life which is manifested through stability in relationships, housing, and employment. This is done in accordance with the Agency's vision, mission, and values, and emerging mental health Recovery Principles. This position provides an essential recovery orientation.
The Neighborhood Living Program has nearly 30 years of experience serving the unsheltered behavioral health population of Allegheny County. This is a unique opportunity to work as a Residential Service Coordinator providing residential support on site as part of a multidisciplinary team to clients living in their own Single Room Occupancy units on the 4th floor of the newly renovated Second Avenue Commons building.
This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $3,000 for an 18-month commitment!

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field such as Social Work, Psychology or Counseling required.
Other fields of study may be considered with coursework of at least 12 credits in Human Services.
