UPMC Children's Community Pediatrics is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to support the office in Hermitage.
Evening availability required to support the hours of operation.
1-2 years of medical office and EPIC experience preferred.
Patient Interaction: Greet patients, assist with check-in, collect copayments, and update information.
Scheduling: Arrange follow-up appointments and connect patients to services.
Support: Help patients navigate the healthcare system and provide clear instructions.
Technology: Register patients in Biometrics and promote MyUPMC portal.
Financial Advocacy: Educate patients on financial responsibilities and connect them to resources.
Compliance: Verify insurance, obtain consent signatures, and follow HIPAA regulations.
Admin Tasks: Handle phone calls, scan records, and perform office duties.
