UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is looking to hire Part Time Food Service Hosts. Candidates must have open availability and able to work shifts between 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. This position will work mostly daylight shifts including rotating holidays and weekends.

This role will be the nourishment floor stock technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to hand hygiene and infection control procedures on a consistent basis when interacting with customers.
  • Communicates customer complaints and concerns effectively with other health care team members.
  • Displays customer service skills when responding to meal service requests, resulting in a satisfied customer.
  • Distributes and collects menus from patients; obtains selected menus from patients according to departmental procedures.
  • Serves meals within established time frames, adhering to departmental standards for appearance, food quality, and temperature control.

Customer service experience preferred

Experience in a stock-related field (box store CSA, warehouse associate, stock clerk, etc.)

Ability to lift up to 50lbs preferred

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

  • Act 34 Criminal Clearance
