Our client, a global leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Service Specialist/Engineer to join our client's team. You will be responsible for servicing ophthalmic instruments.

Job Description

1. Perform diagnostics, repairs, preventive maintenance, installations, and system upgrades for assigned ophthalmic equipment within your designated service area, in accordance with training and official guidelines.
2. Complete all scheduled service tasks within or ahead of designated timeframes.
3. Accurately document each service activity and maintain up-to-date records in the service management system.
4. Ensure all service-related documentation is completed in compliance with quality standards.
5. Calibrate service tools as required and maintain proper documentation per quality protocols.
6. Manage and maintain testing equipment and spare parts inventory effectively.
7. Escalate any product-related or patient-impacting issues to Regulatory Affairs and support investigations related to customer complaints.
8. Deliver on-site customer training as needed, ensuring correct product usage and maintenance.
