PACS Support Analyst

University Radiology, the largest provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. In operation for more than 60 years, University Radiology staffs, manages and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Our physicians interpret over 2.1 million radiology procedures per year.

Responsibilities

  • Executes all responsibilities assigned to the PACS Support Analyst role
  • Trains, supports and validates the compliance of all tasks and responsibilities for other Analysts on the shift
  • Maintains open communication with Analysts about Call Center tasks and URG policies
  • Listens for opportunities for improvement presented by the staff and presents these to the Manager
  • Provides feedback to Manager about employee concerns and suggestions to insure a good working environment
  • Oversees the adoption by the Analysts of any new Call Center policies and procedures
  • Performs annual performance review of Analysts (direct reports) – providing on-line documentation and completing an interactive in-person meeting session with the Analyst
  • Arranges schedules for Holiday shift coverage
  • Performs other functions when assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational and training skills required
  • Knowledge of MS Office Applications desired
  • Excellent interpersonal skills desired
  • Ability to work well under pressure desired
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently desired

Pay Range:
