Provide operational excellence to the School of Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science supporting the Physics Department.
Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis.
Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. plus 17% superannuation.
College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University's schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students. The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools' and University's strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice. The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University's Schools.
Support coordination and delivery of programs and events across the School of Physics, Maths and Computer Science.
Work collaboratively across teams to ensure high quality service provision and responding to changing demand.
Use your initiative and sound judgment to handle complex queries, contribute to service improvements and implement new processes.
This role supports research laboratory operations for the department, including safety governance, in an environment with diverse stakeholder relationships across a broad research environment.
Relevant tertiary qualifications and substantial administrative experience.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
Highly proficient in Microsoft suite including SharePoint, power automate, MS Teams and excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a commitment to high-level customer service.
