Student Worker Positions Available
The School of Data Science is hiring motivated and reliable student workers to support daily building operations, events, and basic IT/AV needs. This role is ideal for students who are detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a professional setting. You'll be part of a team that helps keep the building running smoothly—from restocking kitchens and supplies to assisting with event setup and tech inventory.
Assignment Dates: August 26, 2025 - May 8, 2026
Compensation: $16.00 Hourly
Minimum Requirements
- Current UVA student in good academic standing. Must be eligible for federal work-study
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Basic tech comfort preferred (especially for those interested in IT or operations support).
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs on occasion.
