Full time, continuing role

Base Salary $146,197 + 17% superannuation

This role leads the planning, execution and delivery of strategic initiatives under the One Sydney, Many People strategy 2025-2032. As part of the Indigenous Strategy and Services portfolio, you will drive complex, University-wide projects that support cultural, structural and strategic outcomes. You will work with senior leaders, project teams and stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered effectively, sustainably and in alignment with strategic priorities.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • work closely with project teams, senior leaders and stakeholders across the University
  • manage project establishment including structures, charters, governance frameworks and workforce plans
  • develop and implement project plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables across multiple workstreams
  • oversee project governance, reporting, risk management and quality assurance processes
  • manage project budgets, financial reporting and external funding or grant opportunities
  • lead stakeholder engagement, communication strategies and information sessions across impacted areas
  • provide leadership, coordination and performance management for project staff

About you

  • experience managing a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders on large or complex projects
  • experience leading multiple workstreams or large complex projects with the ability to meet strict deadlines and manage competing demands
  • financial management experience including budgeting, expenditure control and project financial reporting
  • experience working in the higher education sector or a similarly complex, multi-faceted organisation
  • strong capability in project governance, planning, risk management and delivery across all project lifecycle stages
  • postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
