About the opportunity: The University of Sydney is welcoming applications for a motivated and experienced Business Systems and Services Officer to join the University Infrastructure (UI) team under the Property and Development division. The UI team are responsible for the project management of transformational projects to a quality which meets the University's expectations.
The Property and Development Division is responsible for a broad range of activities relating to the University's operational, investment, and leasehold properties. This includes investment, acquisition and sale, property management across operational leaseholds, retail operations, farm management, and the development of the student accommodation portfolio.
The Business Systems and Services Officer oversees the University's accommodation systems to ensure a seamless and positive student experience, while also supporting the Manager, Business Systems and Relationships, in driving sales to maximise revenue and occupancy across the student accommodation portfolio.
Working closely with the External Operator and the Housing Officer, the Business Systems and Services Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient end-to-end management of the student accommodation acceptance process—from application and room allocation through to onboarding, vacating, cleaning, and facilities management—to optimise the overall student experience.
