General Summary: With minimal direction and considerable latitude for independent judgment, the PSS will perform complex secretarial and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment in support of our clinical programs. The PSS will be responsible for all clinic preparations, including but not limited to, providers' time and calendar management while optimizing provider patient schedule, coordination of patient care and information/data support. The PSS will schedule follow-up visits and respond to patient phone calls forwarded by clinicians and MyChart appointment requests. The PSS will also enforce practice policies around late and no-show appointments and ensure completion of standardized questionnaires for patients receiving care. The PSS will work closely with all providers in the practice to manage patient needs effectively, including appropriate involvement of crisis services when needed. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent time-management and organizational skills, as well as enthusiasm for supporting our mission to deliver high-quality patient care.
