The referenced pay range represents the first and last step pay rates for this job, as set forth in the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Individual pay will be set in accordance with terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Performs general maintenance and custodial-type duties, routine construction and installation tasks related to exhibitions and minor interior renovations. Supervision and direction received under general supervision of Maintenance Superintendent or other designated authority. Machines and equipment used: General cleaning and maintenance equipment, carpenter's hand tools and power tools, painter's and dry-waller's tools, audio-visual equipment, gardening and light snow removal tools, and three-speed, manual transmission carry-van.
Typical duties:
Qualifications: Requires the ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions and 1-2 years general carpentry or maintenance experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid New York State driver's license.
