Hourly Rate: The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Requirements and Nature of Work:
Nature of Work: Mark midterm exams, supervise midterms and a final exam, and mark the final exam.
Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must have successfully completed one year of general chemistry, one year of organic chemistry, and either CHM 3140, CHM 3771, or their equivalents. All individuals who are not graduate students (Master's or Ph.D.) in Chemistry must pass a qualifying test (unless already completed). Successful completion of the WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) and Occupational Health and Safety workshops is required.
