The University of Nevada, Reno seeks candidates for the Business Intelligence Analyst position. The Business Intelligence Analyst reports to the Senior Director, Financial Operations & Business Intelligence and contributes to the design, development, and management of business intelligence assets for the campus community.
The Business Intelligence Analyst in the Office of Decision Support is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards to fulfill the data needs of the University community and external stakeholders. This role works closely with functional data stewards on campus to understand institutional data and identify how that data can be used in providing actionable insights to university leadership. This position also supports data quality processes, data modeling, process documentation, and application development for the Office of Decision Support.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR Master's degree and one (1) year of related work experience
Related Experience: Experience creating Business Intelligence reports and dashboards, practical knowledge of SQL and DAX, familiarity with statistical applications (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R) or related.
Preferred Qualifications
SQL Server, Microsoft Power BI, DAX, ETL, Python, .NET framework, and C#
