Compensation: Base Pay Range: $19.15 - $30.23 per hour, based on experience
As a Compensation Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping how compensation impacts employees experience at MU Health Care. You'll be part of the team that ensures our policies and incentive programs are accurate, reliable, and innovative. From auditing data in PeopleSoft to supporting the rollout of new incentive initiatives, your work will expand the team's capacity to deliver seamless pay experiences. By keeping programs running smoothly and reducing disruptions, you'll help strengthen employee trust, boost engagement, and give leaders confidence in the systems they rely on every day.

Assist in the drafting, preparation, documentation, and publication of program materials, including policies, job codes, compensation letters, pay adjustments, and related documents.
Maintains compensation-related resources across HR platforms, ensuring accessibility, version control, and consistency.
Provides administrative support, reporting, and basic troubleshooting for job-related incentive programs at MU Health Care.
Collaborates with HR departments to support the effective rollout of compensation initiatives and projects.
Supports data entry, validation, and basic reporting in PeopleSoft, Excel, and HRIS tools.
Serves as the initial point of contact for incoming Compensation-related TDX tickets and inquiries, triaging and responding as appropriate.
Coordinates the scheduling, tracking, and documentation of compensation projects, including wage adjustments, program implementations, and market review.
Ensures clear, consistent communication that reflects Compensation's commitment to transparency, equity, and exceptional customer service.
May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.
Associate's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities can be acquired.
Two (2) years of experience in analytics, administration, HR, or a related field.
Experience in HR, compensation, analytics, policy writing, project management, or related support functions.
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
Experience with PeopleSoft, SQL, and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, index match, and formula validation.
