Job Summary:

Education & Experience Required:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and minimum of two (2) years of experience in veterinary research operations, protocol review and regulations, with at least five (5) years in a supervisory or management role. DVM.
Preferred Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible by the American College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ACLAM).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Veterinary skills. Knowledge of animal husbandry and the biology of common animal species. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards for the ethical and humane treatment of animals in research, education, and testing. Organizational skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time and resources. Ability to relay technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
