University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach in the Health Care Administration program remotely.
Specifically, we are seeking faculty for the following course(s):
Introduction to Healthcare Administration (HCAD 600): An introduction to the principles of management and leadership as the foundations for the administration of healthcare products and service delivery.
The U.S. Healthcare System (HCAD 620): A comprehensive examination of the complex, dynamic, rapidly changing healthcare system in the United States.
The Business of Healthcare (HCAD 625): A detailed exploration of operational issues unique to the dynamic and highly regulated realm of healthcare.
Healthcare Institutional Organization and Management (HCAD 660): A study of the nature of management and how it is applied in various healthcare settings.
Strategic Issues in Healthcare Leadership (HCAD 665): An examination of strategic issues driving the future of healthcare.
Healthcare Administration Capstone (HCAD 690): A capstone study of healthcare administration.
Introduction to the U.S. Healthcare Sector (HMGT 300): An overview of healthcare organizations in the United States.
Information Systems in Healthcare Organizations (HMGT 320): An introduction to management in the health care services field.
Information Technology for Healthcare Administration (HMGT 420): An examination of the organization and operation of hospitals and freestanding ambulatory care centers.
Health Services Management Capstone (HMGT 495): A study of strategic planning and leadership within a healthcare organization.
