Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) Positions

The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Operations in the College of Business invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions.

Review of applications will begin upon receipt and continue until positions are filled. Hiring is contingent upon availability of funding.

PTL's hired will teach undergraduate courses for the department to include the following subject areas:

  • Cybersecurity
  • Fundamentals of Information Systems
  • Software Development in C# and/or Python
  • Data Analysis with Excel
  • Database Management
  • Systems Analysis, Design, and Implementation
  • PowerBI

We seek candidates prepared to teach face-to-face and online course delivery. The expected teaching load is 3-6 credit hours per semester. Candidates must be available to teach in person late afternoon and/or evening time periods for face-to-face delivery. Availability to teach mornings or afternoons is highly desired.

Minimum education and experience: Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management or a closely related field plus a minimum of five years' relevant work experience. A record of success teaching courses at the university level is highly desired.
