Provides clerical support for staff and students and assists with event planning and travel.
Screens telephone calls and visitors, determines needs and handles routine inquiries, makes referrals to other School and Campus units.
Assists prospective and current students, answering questions and providing general information regarding SSW programs. Maintains BSW student academic records.
Assists with planning and executing programming events.
Schedules all travel for BSW administrators. Reconciles all travel utilizing the Travel end Expense Management system.
Responsible for taking the minutes in the Curriculum Committee, BSW Committee meetings and additional meetings related to the BSW program.
Trainer and point person for the School of Social Work Scheduling System. Determines availability of rooms for classes, events and meetings within the School of Social Work.
Schedules appointments and meetings for the Associate Dean and BSW administrators.
Maintains school BSW & Minor listserv. Textbook and desk copy ordering. Collects semester syllabi from all instructors each semester for archives. Prepares and updates student mailboxes each semester.
Other duties as assigned.

This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 0846 - Office Support Associate position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the search posting closes. The collective bargaining agreement sets a wage of $20.082/hour ($39,159.90 annually). Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position. This position will be expected to work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus on a full-time basis per the University's Workplace Flexibility policy.
