Enrollment Services Specialist, Enrollment Management

The Enrollment Services Specialist is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals who are eager to build meaningful experience while making a real difference in students' lives. In this role, you'll support prospective and current students, families, faculty, and staff by providing thoughtful, student-centered service across a range of enrollment functions. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you will deliver high-quality customer service across all three campuses and within the community, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as financial aid, student accounts, student records, and registration.

The Enrollment Services Specialist serves as a trusted resource—helping individuals navigate university processes, answering questions, and ensuring accurate, consistent information is shared. Essential Functions:

  • Counsel students and other constituencies with expertise in one or more areas (i.e., cashiers, collections, financial aid, student accounts, student records and registration).
  • Manage all service-related inquiries.
  • Analyze status of student records/academic standing.
  • Resolve complex problems, work with appropriate staff to develop and implement intervention strategies using professional counseling techniques.
  • Make expert referrals as needed.
  • Coordinate programs for students and other customers (e.g., financial aid/scholarship, daily web/blog communications/updates; special recruitment events/showcases).
  • Coordinate proactive outreach efforts to improve student retention.
  • Design, develop and implement technology based self-service tools.
  • May participate in performing one or more of the following duties: mentor new hired Enrollment Services Specialists; mentor or supervise student workers; participate in special projects.
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree. Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Required Trainings/Certifications: N/A

Required Experience: Additional Qualifications Considered Higher education experience in financial aid, customer service, bursar, registrar, advising, or in customer service.
