The Prevention Education and Outreach Coordinator is a full-time staff position reporting to the Associate Director of UChicago CARES. The Coordinator provides professional support for developing, delivering, and evaluating prevention education and outreach programs related to harassment, discrimination, and sexual misconduct, with a focus on undergraduate students. Working with moderate guidance, the Coordinator assists in designing training offerings, coordinating educational events, and supporting program implementation across campus. The role also helps assess the effectiveness of current programs and maintains records of education and outreach efforts, contributing to the University's ongoing efforts to foster a safe and inclusive community. The Coordinator also works closely with colleagues within EOP to create and maintain a holistic approach to prevention, education, support, and response in support of all members of the campus community, consistent with the University's compliance efforts related to non-discrimination and UChicago CARES core values.
Responsibilities include:
Minimum qualifications include a college or university degree in a related field and 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in a related field, experience leading trainings related to harassment, discrimination, and/or sexual misconduct, and experience providing evidence-based prevention trainings to university students, particularly undergraduate students.
