Term length: Up to a maximum of 3 weeks to support Grad
Assignment: This role is specifically to support Grad operations, primarily at the Grad tent
Physical requirements: Including lifting and moving boxes related to Grad setup and teardown.
Hours of work: Shifts may vary between 6:45am and 7:30pm, up to a maximum of 7 hours per day.

Sales clerks are involved in a variety of sales and order processing activities that serve the needs of Bookstore customers. Sales clerks are expected to provide excellent customer service, be knowledgeable about the products the Bookstore sells and effectively display bookstore merchandise. This position requires the ability to provide customer service in all areas of the store.
Organizational Status Reports to Bookstore Assistant, Section Head or Assistant Merchandising Supervisor II as designated. Work Performed
Consequence of Error/Judgement Works within well defined guidelines and procedures, but is expected to exercise some initiative and judgment in establishing priorities and carrying tasks through to completion; new or unusual problems would be referred to supervisor. Supervision Received Receives detailed instructions during orientation and training and on an on-going basis changes in procedures. Carries out assigned duties under general supervision. Supervision Given Employees at this level do not supervise, but may explain work sequences to others.
Minimum Qualifications High school graduation or an equivalent combination of education and experience.- Willingness to respect diverse perspectives, including perspectives in conflict with one's own
