Join Canada's largest research hospital, University Health Network (UHN), as a People & Culture (P&C) Support Specialist and play a key role in enhancing the employee experience. As part of the newly established Onboarding & Service Delivery Team, you will serve as the first point of contact for TeamUHN members, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic support on P&C programs, policies, and systems.

Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic support on People & Culture (P&C) programs, policies, and systems
  • Manage and respond to employee inquiries across multiple channels (e.g., email, phone, ticketing systems)
  • Resolve support tickets end-to-end, ensuring a high standard of service delivery
  • Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting support for HR systems, including Workday and UKG
  • Support the employee onboarding experience as part of the Onboarding & Service Delivery Team
  • Analyze inquiry trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Develop and maintain knowledge resources (e.g., FAQs, documentation) to enhance self-service capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and service delivery
  • Monitor and leverage KPIs and SLAs to ensure efficient, high-quality, and data-driven support services

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, technical support, or customer service.
  • Experience troubleshooting HR systems such as HRIS, applicant tracking, or learning management systems.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while meeting service level agreements.
  • Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Creative thinker with confidence to propose and execute innovative solutions and enhancements.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, UKG or healthcare environments is an asset.
  • Previous experience in a call center setting and an HR Generalist background are assets.
