We are seeking an experienced Senior Information Services Support Technician to provide support to individual users of IS equipment and technology. Responsible for the configuration and installation of any new end user device including workstations, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Supports troubleshooting and resolves end user hardware and software issues and provides recommendations as required. Installs and sets up new computer systems for testing and loading software. Installs software and troubleshoots software problems. Answers the IT Service Center phone and checks email account, makes recommendations and troubleshoots user issues to resolution. Documents into the ticket tracking system. Acts as the escalation point for customer relations matters and problem resolutions. Trains new account users and verifies that access and security of Information Services resources are properly maintained according to established organizational policies and procedures. Helps to train new staff on IT Service Center operations and tasks. Assists the Information Technology Service Center manager with department processes to ensure service level and operational level standards. Provides on-call after-hours support as required.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field from an accredited college or university required. Minimum 5 years' experience troubleshooting complex network, hardware, software, and printing problems. Experience in acute care hospital environment. Must have good judgment in defusing/mitigating serious customer relations issues.
