Security Analyst

The Security Analyst leads the information technology security program for Manatee Health including developing, implementing, and maturing of security on all hospital systems. This includes the following areas:

• Responsible for implementation, design, support and integrity of MHS networking infrastructure
• Develops and implements policies and procedures to minimize the possibility of unauthorized access to MHS System and Data
• Performs regular audits of hospital systems ensuring compliancy at both the UHS Enterprise level, as well as for those specific to Manatee Health
• Troubleshoots highly complex issues within cybersecurity
• Analyzes processes and technologies within the department and makes recommendations to increase productivity, security, and efficiency
• Conducts training and education for other information services staff
• Leads Manatee Health staff on security issues, compliancy, and developing/enforcing policies
• Develops policies and analyzes systems security throughout Universal Health Services (UHS). Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required
• CompTIA A+ Certification required
• Certified Cisco Network Associate (CCNA) Certification preferred
• CompTIA Network+ Certification preferred
• CompTIA Security+ Certification preferred
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification preferred
• Minimum of ten (10) years of PC hardware and software support in a Microsoft environment required
• Minimum of ten (10) years of Active Directory experience required
• Minimum of ten (10) years of virtualization technology experience required
• Minimum of ten (10) years of Server Patching/Management experience required
• Minimum of ten (10) years supporting Cisco devices and Single Sign On (SSO) required
• Experience working in a healthcare environment preferred
