Food Service Worker

The Food Service Worker is responsible for participating in the provision of quality meals and nutritional services to patients, staff, and guests. The Food Service Worker will serve meals to all cafeteria customers, clean work area as necessary or assigned, and accepts and reconciles deliveries and puts away stock. The Food Service Worker will use kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, mixers, and dishwashers. The Food Service Worker will need to have knowledge of essential hygiene factors involved in food preparation and knowledge of cleansing products and the appropriate methods of cleansing a variety of surfaces. Weekdays 11AM-7:30PM, rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED

Licensure/Certification: Current Tennessee Driver's License

Experience: Previous experience working in a food service industry, preferably in a hospital or other institutional setting. In the absence of above qualifications/experience, must demonstrate the ability to learn necessary skills through the facility orientation program.
