Director Of Clinical Services

Valle Vista Health System is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Clinical Services to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals! Valle Vista Health System has been providing behavioral health services to the South Indianapolis area for more than 40 years. Located in Greenwood, IN, our 132-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness and chemical dependency. Valle Vista offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities.

Position Summary: The Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility's performance goals and objectives. This includes the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of a clinical treatment programs.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Ability to maintain Service Excellence standards.
  • Provide group, family and individual therapy.
  • Trauma Informed Care.
  • Knowledge and skills in CBT, DBT, behavioral management and other treatment modalities.
  • A strong knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA regulations and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
  • Knowledge of patient rights and ability to teach, coach and create corrections when necessary.
  • Knowledge of Indiana's involuntary process.
  • Ability to teach, coach and create corrections when necessary.

Qualifications: Requires a Master's degree in behavioral health/social services. MSW preferred. 3 to 5 years experience in Advanced Clinical/Management Practices. Full license in provision of mental health services (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or licensed psychologist). Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) preferred.
