Keystone Center, located in Chester, Pennsylvania, offers substance use disorder and dual diagnosis treatment for adults. We are located five miles south of the Philadelphia Airport, making our facility an easy location to travel to and from, for out-of-state treatment options and visitors.
The Food Service Coordinator Assistant prepares food and dessert items for service to patients, staff and visitors. The Food Service Coordinator Assistant provides supervision and coordination of dietary staff to maintain high standards of quality food production, safety, sanitation and service in accordance with established policies and procedures and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Keystone Center.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Minimum five years institutional cooking experience in a hospital, health care or hospitality setting.
Licenser/Certification: Serve Safe certificate and valid Drivers License preferred
Knowledge: Knowledge of basic math, equipment usage, cleaning products, safety and infection control practices
Supervision Received by: Food Service Coordinator
Environmental Conditions:
Works in food production kitchen setting subject to extreme changes in temperature. Exposure to chemical dependant and dual diagnosis patients. Potential for exposure to communicable diseases, blood/body fluids and other hazardous waste. Exposure to equipment and cleaning products and fluids.
Physical Requirements:
Heavy physical workload Push, pull and lift 50 pounds. Requires standing, walking, bending, pulling, pushing, kneeling and stopping throughout the shift. Ability to safely operate kitchen equipment.
