The Early Childhood Approach (ECA) service works as a Partner in the Community delivering the NDIS, supporting children and their families up to the age of 9 years, who have a disability, developmental delay or concern.

The ECA Lead is responsible for program management, team leadership and development, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance, financial management, data analysis and reporting, compliance and risk management and continuous improvement activities within the operational objectives of the Early Childhood Approach Partner service.

This position will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operational and business administration function of the service
  • Provide professional leadership to the Early Childhood Approach program's employees.
  • Work collaboratively with the team, the extended leadership team and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver best practice for the children we serve, and their families.

What makes a difference for us?

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human service field – allied or non-allied health with ideally an early childhood focus.
  • NDIS Workers Screen
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Positive Blue Card
  • Demonstrated experience to effectively lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to achieve service performance outcomes, together with an ability to provide quality supervision and training
  • Knowledge of managing operational and administrative support functions within the service area.
  • Knowledge of NDIA’s business system PACE is beneficial but not essential.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and licensing requirements associated with the Uniting Care Early Childhood Approach.
  • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation principles, continuous improvement, workplace health and safety and human resource management.
