Primary Responsibilities:

1. Design, optimize, and migrate databases
2. Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions
3. Implement ETL processes for data integration and provisioning
4. Manage data stores within Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and cloud solutions - Azure
5. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for data optimization
6. Design schemas and write SQL scripts for data analytics and applications
7. Ensure data quality and governance standards are met

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Skills
• SQL: Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying
• Python: Solid skills in Python for data manipulation and scripting
• ETL Tools: Proficiency in ETL tools like Talend/ADF/Apache NiFi/DataBricks
• Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of Azure Cloud
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with GitHub, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Security: Vulnerability Fix and remediation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Knowledge in data engineering roles with enterprise-scale impact will be an added advantage
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of data governance and quality standards
